Funnel QA Checklist: From First Click to Follow-Up

A reusable workflow test for traffic, routing, records, checkout, booking, follow-up, and attribution.

Answer first

Start with the part of your funnel that matters most: qualifying leads, taking payments, or following up. The page builder, contact record, checkout, and follow-up must be evaluated as one operating path, even when more than one system is required.

End-to-end QA checklist

  1. Open the route from every live traffic source and preserve campaign parameters.
  2. Complete each meaningful answer path and verify conditional content.
  3. Confirm score, formula, recommendation, and outcome accuracy.
  4. Inspect the contact record for answers, score, outcome, consent, and source.
  5. Test booking or checkout with the platform's documented safe method.
  6. Verify confirmation, team handoff, and the correct follow-up sequence.
  7. Confirm analytics events, revenue signals, and attribution boundaries.
  8. Repeat on mobile, keyboard navigation, and a low-bandwidth connection.

Release record

Record the test date, plan, route, expected result, actual result, evidence screenshot or log, blocker, owner, and retest date. A checklist without a record does not compound.

How to use this guide

  1. Write what you need the funnel to achieve in one sentence.
  2. Mark which system owns each stage from traffic to measurement.
  3. Identify the two transitions most likely to lose context or revenue.
  4. Test those transitions before comparing secondary features.
  5. Record plan access, date, source, and uncertainty.

Boundary

This guide addresses broad funnel software and operating-model decisions. It does not rank one-prompt AI generation depth or replace a dedicated page-builder, lead-acquisition, or nurture-platform evaluation.
